Keeping in Touch...

The touch season has begun at the Oval Junior Module at the Kensington Oval, and Balmacewen has 9 teams entered.
Over 100 students are playing touch this term for Balmacewen. We have 5 boys teams, 3 girls and 1 mixed team this year. Big thank-yous to the teachers, parents and ex-students who have volunteered to help coach, manage or referee our students. The students really enjoy playing their games against other schools.
We also have a group students who have become Junior Referees and refereed their first game this week. The Junior school teams really love having their "big kid" referees and ask lots of questions.
Apart from the mixed team that plays at 4.15pm, all the boys and girls teams play at 5.15pm each week. The draw can be found on our website when you click on Sports, and Touch. It is usually updated by Tuesday each week.
