Toitu Museum and Chinese Garden Visit

This term we are studying Turangawaewae and our sense of belonging.

We visited the Toitu Museum in Week 4 to learn more about our ancestors and how early Dunedin was shaped by different groups of people who lived here. We worked in groups to complete a scavenger hunt. Then we visited the Chinese Gardens and learnt more about why the Chinese came to NZ and what difference they made to our community.
