Term 2 Flight

Room 4 has been thoroughly engaged in learning about the principles of flight. We have focused on paper planes and testing a variety of planes and recording data.
This term our Year 8 inquiry focus is on flight. We have been busy studying the four forces of flight consisting of gravity; thrust; lift and drag. Students have been busy testing and recording flight distances and hang times of a variety of different planes. Data has then been recorded to look at what planes were most successful and why?
