The end is now

The 2016 school year is drawing to a close and it is time for Room 24 students to move on into their high school days.

2016 has been a year of constant challenge for the students of Room 24.  We set out at the start of the year to have a fun and informative year along with making sure we are safe and happy. My opinion is we ticked that box and are ready for the next chapter.

Literacy, mathematics, inquiry, physical activity and performing arts are just a few of the topics I threw at our pupils. They caught them with both hands.

I would like to say that you should be proud of the accomplishments your child reached, no matter what the level achieved. I can confidently say the majority of students strived for personal excellence and pushed themselves out of their comfort zone in a variety of areas - as seen in our class lip sync performance.

The class has looked after each other and formed solid friendships, hopefully for many years to come. I wish the students well for their futures and thank the parents for your support throughout the year.

Kind regards
