Year 8 Sports TournamentÂ

This term for our Physical Education sessions we have been focusing on Futsal, Netball and Volleyball. To complete this unit each class organised three teams and we encouraged students to try a sport they do not usually play. It was an awesome day with great skills, teamwork and intense competition. The day ended with a game of Netball with the students taking on the Year 8 staff. A big thank you needs to go to the referees from Otago Girls and Otago Boys High School who came and refereed the games for us all day.
Results:
Futsal - 1st - Room 8, 2nd Room 25, 3rd Room 4
Volleyball- 1st -Room 24, 2nd Room 24, Room 8
Netball - 1st Room 4, 2nd= Room 13/14
Well done to everyone - it was an awesome day and a great finish to the term.
