This term we had 8 teams that played at the Oval Junior Competition on a Thursday after school.

3 Girls and 5 boys teams played in both the elite and development grades.  The weather wasn't always on it's best behaviour and the teams got to practice their dives on the line. Lots of fun and learning was happening out there.

We also had 25 students put up their hands to referee the junior teams and became part of the Referee Academy. They all refereed at least one game a week, some did 2 games.  Congratulations to Lucas and Eli who officiated the Elite Y5-6 boys final which went to a drop-off.

The Lions team played in the Elite Girls grade, having a great term winning most of the games including the final against Tahuna.

The Tornadoes also had a great term, winning the Elite Boys final against Taieri.

Thank you to all the parents, and teachers who helped out with coaching and managing - we couldn't do it without you.
