Screen Printing

Many Year 8 students have said that the screen printing unit is one of their favourites!

They liked choosing their designs and tracing. All students agree - that being able to cut the stencil precisely was the most challenging step. It is always wonderful to see them working collaboratively to set up their print stations and print. This step requires them to use the necessary checklists. Having particular attention to detail when printing is vital for a  good outcome.

Syndicate 7/8/13 screen printed on an outcome that they had made! This was an exciting process to watch and I thoroughly enjoyed supporting each student through the design/technology process. All students developed greater independence and their confidence sky rocketed. I love your double sided aprons, drawstring bags and tote bags! The represent a lot of excellent problem solving and hard work. Be proud of what you achieved - I am!

Well done to all students who completed a print that they are proud of!

Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and a wonderful start at your chosen high schools in 2021 Go well!
