Balmacewen Athletics

Balmacewen's school athletics day was held in Week 1 of Term 4. It was great to see all students giving it their very best. Results of the day were:
Girls U12 1st - Inez Meeuws, 2nd - Lily Woodhouse, 3rd - Jesika Sebelin
Girls U13 1st - Olivia Fowler, 2nd - Emily Hall, 3rd - Branwen Jones
Girls O13 1st - Sophie Miller, 2nd - Hannah Matehaere, 3rd - Erin Dickie
Boys U12 1st - Isaac Dolan, 2nd - Yun Sung Chang, 3rd - Callum Hill
Boys U13 1st - Josh Nevin, 2nd - Jude Molloy, 3rd - Nasili Ikahihifo
Boys O13 1st - George Bates, 2nd - Tyson Verburg, 3rd - Jack Muir
The house results were:
1st - Highgate 2nd - Shetland 3rd - Chapman 4th - Lynn.
Following on from our school athletics we had 105 students compete in the North Zones on Thursday 5th November. There were some fantastic results, and 93 of those students then qualified for the Otago Champs.

On Thursday the 19th November the Otago Champs were held. A big thank you to Mrs Miller and Miss Napper for all of their efforts with coaching and preparing our athletes. There were some fantastic results:
