Jane Hendry
Jane Hendry - Year 8 Classroom Teacher
Jane Hendry is a Year 8 classroom teacher with six years of experience in education. Before teaching, she worked in youth justice supporting vulnerable young people, a background that continues to shape her teaching ethos. Jane is passionate about fostering creativity, supporting students’ wellbeing, and equipping them with key life skills for success. She enjoys the fast-paced nature of intermediate and all the unique qualities that come with teaching this age group.
“I love teaching this age group, they’ve got great banter, are starting to become mini adults, and form their own opinions on the world around them. I believe intermediate is a crucial age where we have the opportunity to support students to become confident, kind, and motivated individuals.”
Outside of school, Jane enjoys coaching and playing basketball, playing golf, and spending time with her family.
