House Leaders 2025

This term the house leaders have been busy doing a number of things to serve our school.

They have been working tirelessly to plan the Tabloid Sports which will take place on Friday 12 December. They have planned activities, sorted activity packs for both students and staff and organised equipment and venues for this. On the day they will lead their teams around a variety of fun team challenges to earn points for the coveted Clarke Cup.

Over the last few weeks they have also worked alongside Ms Dixon and Mrs Cooper to plan and run a disco for the Year 7 students. It is the first disco we have had in a number of years and it was a great success. The Year 7 students had a blast. Thanks so much to those who helped make invitations, cook sausages, sell sweets and drinks, run games and activities, put together playlists for the DJ and decorated the hall to make it a fun and memorable night.

Finally, this week they have also run activities for the Year 6 students who visited and took part in an orientation afternoon. It was a fun way for these students to get to know other people before they start at Balmacewen next year.

I would like to thanks the House Leaders for their energy, commitment and service this year. You have led our school with mana and pride and have been an enjoyable group of students to work with. I look forward to watching your leadership skills continue to grow at high school. All the best for next year team.
