Koru Games

At the end of last term, we had 8 different teams that went up to Christchurch to compete in the Koru Games.

Despite the really difficult weather conditions, we had so much fun and made so many memories that we will remember for a lifetime.

We returned home with the Touch Boys trophy and Rippa Girls trophy.

Well done to all the other teams, whether or not you got a medal. All 90 kids who went gave it their all and walked away having made so many new friends, getting to play a sport they love.

One of Lola's highlights was the trip up in the vans, bonding with her team. Lucy’s highlight was getting the chance to make it to the finals.

We would also like to acknowledge all of the parents, coaches and teachers who made it possible for all of us to go and have a blast. A special thank you to Mrs Southby, Tom Hume and Mr Hunter for organising and making this amazing trip possible for all of us.

Koru Games was so much fun, and we all had an amazing time and would recommend going the next time Balmac goes up.
