Room 10 has been working on Autumn writing finishing with a quick write as shared below

The dew spreads across the grass like a thick blanket, spreading across the world as if trying to smother it.

The leaves twirl through the air as if spun by their partner, the wind.

Birdsong spans the sky like early morning rain, a herald to the day to come.

The mist obscures the world, hiding the dancing leaves and soft dew.

The leaf frolicking in the air like an angelic ballerina

The sun struggling up the sky while the cluods beat it down

The fog creeps up the tree with the stealth of a ninja

The frost crawls across the garden killing the plants freezing to death inside the frozen trail By Caelin

The leaves crunch under the boots as I step on the dewy grass. The walk way freezes like an ice rink with frost the shape of snow flakes. The trees stand tall with orange yellow red leaves falling like flies. The cold breeze punches me in the face then it changes directions and feels like acid getting poured on me chilling me to the bone By Kizito

The fog running down into the harbour away from the brisk wind icing the mountains in it’s sacred cloak.

My warm breath billowing into the air like smoke from a chimney.

The frost running along the spine of the leaf

The leaves swaying in the breeze , tapping their petite tips dancing to the tune of the leaves crunching then cartwheeling on thin air. By Issy

The morning sunrise sends frost that spreads like wild fire across the grass leaving a crisp essence in the breeze

The leaves bounce and twirl like ballerina at recitel .

The leaves cover the ground like a big crunchy bronze blanket .

The Autumn weather is changeable some days some days the sun shines like a star and is warm as a dessert .

The other days the mist blinds you and you only see for five meters and you can almost smell the cold . by Willow

The smell of Wood smoke and pine fills my airways, As the dappled light filters the amber snow.

The leaves twirl, Dance, Sway and Float through the crisp Autumn breeze.

Twigs snap underfoot and a Tui’s birdsong let’s through as the Golden Embers fall from the sky.

Tracks trace through the frosted field and fog hangs low as I succumb to the fleeting season of Autumn. Erin

The smoke lurks around while leaves are swaying in the wind.

The sun scorching the leaves.

The sky painting the sky dark and gloomy.

The frost getting sprinkled on the grass like icing sugar
