Term 4 Touch

With 5 boys teams spread over the 3 grades and 4 girls teams in the 2 different grades, Balmacewen was well represented.
In the elite grades, Balmacewen featured in both the boys and girls final. The boys played Trinity in a tight fought game winning 6-5 and the Girls played Columba, winning 3-1.
We have 23 touch players who give back to touch each week. They all referee in the Junior grades before their game and several help referee Balmacewen teams either just before or after their game. We are so lucky have to some amazing students who give up their time to help us out. It can be tough to ref, but its even tougher to ref your schoolmates.
We are also lucky enough to have some ex-Balmacewen Students giving up their time to help coach the teams. Ariana Paku and Lily-Kate Runga coach the Balmac Puma teams and Liam Wilson and Tiaki Heriwini coach the Balmac Thunder. Thank you for your time and wisdom for the teams.
A big Thank-you goes to our parent coaches and managers, Adam Liberatore, Stacy McDonald, Penny Easton, Tom Sinclair, Ka Belo and Charlotte Cooper for all their support, coaching and time invested.
Congratulations to Mr Pitts and Miss Smart for their team's success in their grades. We thank you for your dedication to the teams. Both of these teachers give up so much of their time to coach 2 teams each week at lunchtimes and after school when needed.
