School starts: 8.50am

Interval: 10.25am – 10.45am

Lunch: 12.15pm – 1.15pm

School finishes: 3.00pm

SCHOOL TERMS 2027:

Term 1: Thursday 28th January to Friday 9th April

Term 2: Tuesday 27 April to Friday 2 July.

Term 3: Monday 19 July to Friday 24 September.

Term 4: Monday 11 October to Wednesday 15th December.

REPORTING ABSENCES:

If your child is going to be absent from school please email absences@balmacewen.school.nz or phone 466 7251 (press 1) and leave a message on the answer service with your name, your child’s full name and room number, and the reason for their absence.

If your child has to leave the school during the day for any reason, please email their classroom teacher and absences@balmacewen.school.nz with the reason for absence, the time they are leaving, estimated time of return.

All students need to report to the office before leaving the school grounds and again on their return. Please do not collect students directly from classrooms.

All students that arrive after 8.50am must report to the office before going to their classroom.
