2026 School uniform.

Balmacewen has updated our school uniform. This will be phased out next year and by 2027 all students will be expected to be wearing the new uniform.

The white blouse and grey shirts will be replaced with a unisex polo that is navy and has the school logo. We will also have a new skirt in the 'macewen' tartan (which replaces the kilt) and navy shorts. All students will wear the new socks (black with red trim) and the navy quarter zip merino.

PE gear, hoodies, shoes and school jacket all remain the same.

Next year; All year 7 students are expected to be in the new school uniform. Year 8 students are allowed to continue wearing this year's uniform as we phase it out. Of course, next year the year 8 students are very welcome to wear the new uniform. However NO students should be mixing old and new uniforms.
