Room 14's Aquarium Visit

The igniter session at the Portobello Aquarium was a marvellous learning experience.

We all had a blast at the aquarium today as it provided a fantastic opportunity for the students to get up close and personal with a variety of sea creatures.  This session will provide the experiences to launch into our theme work this term.  It was a great opportunity to investigate the adaptations that the creatures have and how they aid survival.

There were many highlights of the trip least of all the dissection of a dogfish shark.  Please enjoy the photos of this experience, especially the students varied reactions.

A huge thank you to all the parent helpers for your assistance in making this trip possible.
