Year 8's in the kitchen

The Year 8's have been rediscovering their skills in food technology.

Savoury scrolls, spaghetti bolognaise and cauliflower cheese, have all been made in class. Now we have moved on to making our different pastries: choux for chocolate eclairs, short for our fruit tarts, and puff for the apple turnovers. We played with other pastry and made some springrolls, wontons & dumplings, that didnt last very long as they were very yummy.

Over the next few weeks the groups are going to design and make their own pies. Look out for those pictures.
