Itinerant Music Workshop Day

On Wednesday over 30 Balmacewen students joined other Year 7 – 10 students from around Otago at a Workshop day run by the Otago Itinerant Music Teachers. 

Split into two groups depending on what instrument they played, half spent their day at Queen's High School, while the others were based at King’s High School. 

Students practised a variety of pieces on their instruments during the morning then presented these to parents and each other at a concert in the afternoon at King’s.

Always a fun, but exhausting day, everyone came away learning lots and enjoying making music with others
