Balmacewen Athletics Day

Read on to see the individual and house winners of the day and also to check out some photos. 

On the last day of Term 3 we had our annual Athletics Day held at the Caledonian Athletics Track. 

Students represented their houses and took part in the following events; hurdles, sprints, discus, shotput, high jump, long jump as well as a interhouse relay competition.

Well done to all students who demonstrated perseverance and personal excellence when taking part in these events.

We also use these sports as a qualifier for North Zone Athletics Championships which are being held on 7th November. We have a large number of students who have qualified for this and will represent Balmacewen at this event.
