Love is in the Air!

As part of our creative writing unit which looks at creating imagery, Room 7 have been writing poems inspired by the colour RED - which we related to the emotion of LOVE. Check out some of our LOVE poems.

Love is red, Love is red wine getting gulped down by a red rose,

It feels As though a rollercoaster is riding up your throat at the top it is a kiss in plain sight,

Sprouting like a rose and is the sound of a waltz in the night,

It is the smell of a creamy dripping candle light!!! by Roman

Love is the taste of fluffy, pink cotton candy.

Love is a cozy hug with the closest person you have.

Love is the sound of classical piano music playing quietly & romantically in the back of the restaurant.

Love is making a mess in the cinema with popcorn while watching a movie

Love is the smell of the dim candles, like pineapple, the scent floats through the warm air.

Love is red, like blood being shed for one another. By Ollie M

Love is red and as soft as silk.

Love is sharing a milkshake at the corner store slowly draining it away.

Love is a pair of roses and chocolate lying at your door in the morning.

Love is a warm glow in your stomach at night slowly getting warmer.

Love is the smell of perfume as you sit on the couch together.

Love is the sound of your partner quietly waking you up with breakfast in bed.

Love is beautiful and can not be stopped .  By Fletcher

Love is red like...

Love is cotton candy at a school fair.

Love is butterflies fluttering round inside of your stomach. The sound of love is a church choir singing on Christmas Eve.

The look of love is a couple skipping gracefully in a paddock of freshly grown daisies.

The smell of love is freshly lit candle light in the darkness. by Ollie S

Love is red. Love is the taste of cotton candy touching your lips. Love is the sound of a peaceful harp playing in the background of a romantic movie. Love is the smell of cherry flavoured lip balm freshly applied to your bottom lip. Love is the feeling of butterflies playing a game of tag in your tummy. Love is two hands touching, frolicking in a field of daisies. Love is the feeling of a warm hug when your feeling down. By Maggie
