Today the writing extension group visited Olveston House as part of our writing programme.

Today the writing extension group visited Olveston House as part of our writing programme.  It gave us the opportunity to immerse ourselves in another period of history.  We were able to engage our senses in a full experience.  We will use this to help us to create our own Edwardian writing, using authentic details to add depth to our writing.  It was a fabulous experience, made even more special by Darcy playing the piano in the drawing room and her music drifting through the house as it would have in begone eras.

Look out for our writing in Term 4!
