Cricket

Each year Balmacewen enters the ActivePost Cup (boys) and Shield (girls). We have a strong tradition of success in both competitions, regularly playing off for Otago/Southland honours. This year (2018) both our boys team and girls team have progressed through to the National finals which will be held in Lincoln in November. Our boys team has also been in the National finals in 2016 and 2014. Teams are selected in Term One and the competition concludes in Term Four depending on the team's progress.
