A school uniform helps pupils identify with their school. Parent support and supervision with the correct wearing of the uniform is essential, and we thank you for this. A note is required on any occasion when a pupil is unable to wear the complete uniform.

Girls' Uniform

Black shoes

White socks or navy blue tights

Macwen tartan kilt or skirt

White blouse or white skivvy

Red V neck jersey

Boys' Uniform

Black shoes

Grey socks with school colour tops

Grey shorts

Grey shirt or white skivvy

Red V neck jersey

Physical Education Uniform

Sneaker or gym shoes

Navy blue shorts

School 'T' Shirt (available at school)

Navy track pants and red sweatshirt may be worn in colder weather

General

All pupils are expected to wear the correct uniform for their two years at Balmacewen Intermediate. Every article should be CLEARLY NAMED. Children are permitted to wear plain navy trackpants to and from school on cold days in Terms 2 & 3 provided they wear a jacket as well.

Jewellery and Makeup

Plain stud earrings may be worn. Wearing of other jewellery is not permitted. Makeup is not permitted.
